Amma!
Gosh...
Five actresses at the top of some stairs.
From the left Rima, Lakshmi, Bhavana, Mithra and, (I think) Dhanya.
Far Out.

Pulling Focus and, Elvis...
The last thing you need, when taking a shot, is having the hero/heroine moving towards the camera and, going all 'fuzzy.' You want them to remain sharp and 'unfuzzy.'
This is where a Focus-Puller comes in handy.
However, it's not as important a job as 'The-Camera-Is-Here"Guy. On a busy set, cameras are often lost or, even mistaken for other film equipment.
So, now you know...

Platonic Relationship Time
Ah...
I'm sure there's no Sapphic undertones in the movie.
Probably another deeply, spiritual Art-film...
*Cough*

The Sound of Music...
No sign of the Von Trapps nor, Julie Andrews but, here's Oviya and, some sprogs dancing through a field.

Priyamani's Muhurat type-thang
From the left: Chick, Priyamani, Bloke.
Actually, the bloke is probably Srinagara Kitty who is the hero of Ko Ko Koli Kothi.
Though, it is pure conjecture or, even untrue.
It's definitely Priyamani!
I think...
All Growed Up
Mu-hahahaha.
I laugh heartily at your calls for correct grammar.
Anyway...
'Tis Mallika.
She played Senthil's first-love in Autograph.
It would be nice to see her on the silver-screen again.
Whatever that means...
Mamta gets/gives an award!
No, really.
I have no idea whether she was giving or, accepting.
If only English had a dative case.
It would make even less sense...

Directions...
It is vitally important, when making a film, to have someone who looks like they know what they are doing...
The Director.
This role is normally carried out by someone in a hat, pointing at things and, holding a microphone/megaphone.
Meanwhile, here is a picture of Thing from the Addam's Family carrying the most important item of movie-making equipment.

S by the C
The Crazy World of Arthur Brown had a hit with the name of Sandhya's film back in the '60's.
Don't say you never learn anything on this site...

Advanced Pointing...
Astoundingly, pointing is not just used for indicating directions.
No sir/madam/both!!
It can also be used as a warning gesture.
So, how is the finger above being used?
a: Warning. For example: "You'll come to the streets!"
b: Directions. For example: "You're forehead is up there!"
c: A failed attempt at nose-picking, due to poor eyesight.
Ah... mysteries.
Classic Film Dialogues...
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!" "Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..."

The most important item of Film-making Equipment...
As you'd expect...
It's the Umbrella.
Though, it can be a Parasol.
Or, both.

...and, the award for the most retarded watermark this week is...
What where they thinking?!!!
Actually, that sounds like I'm really interested.
Here's how it should have been done:
Now that's much better...
Though, I still can't see the crowd.
