100th Post! A change of title!! The same old inane crap...
"The lady of the lake, her hand clad in the purest shimmering Samite held aloft an enormous microphone from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that it was about time the film had it's first song..."
Ah yes!
Anyway, finally hit the 100th post.
If you're one of the 200, *pause* um... 20, ...er... *cough* 2 people who read this blog, then thanks for dropping by, even if you do frantically press the 'back' button to return to your favourite search-engine as soon you arrive...
Before reading this blog...
...After reading this blog.
Don't forget that if you type "Indian cinema blogs that make no sense" into google and, this site crops up, then you only have yourself to blame...
Back to the usual 'awesomeness.'
I know you can't wait...

Poetry in Motion...
What brings joy to the mind of a person?
A sunset over the sea? An awesome landscape?
A beautiful girl? A handsome dude?
Er...both?
Sod that...
...give me a gang of dangerous, violent, preferably hairy, sabre-wielding rowdies every time!
Aww...

Brain-Storm-type-thing
No...
I still haven't thought of a witty, illuminative, apt, not-stupidly-long, awesome name to replace 'Stragglers on the deck' as a title.
*Yawn*
History in the Making!
Awww...
Yup, it's Mumtaj from her debut film, Monisha En Monalisa.
And, no, I have no idea of the picture's source.
Indiaglitz perhaps...?

Focus
No, that makes no sense at all.
Though, you will be glad to know I'm hoping to have a new name for the site by the 100th post.
It'll still make no sense but, at least it may have something to do with (South) Indian Cinema.
Unlike this blog...

Going for a drive?
Point-Of-View shots are vital in a film to give a sense of realism in driving scenes.
I've no idea how this is done but...
...if you're ever hitch-hiking in Andhra Pradesh, don't expect a ride from these guys.

Just in case you didn't know...
Cranes are used with Cameras in the film industry. This is due to the fact that cameramen are not 30 feet tall...
Here we see a crane being released back into the wild by a team of zoologists.
Another mystery solved...

Nothing to do with a certain Japanese company...
Hey!
It's Nani and, Nithya Menon from Sega but....
Where is Sonic?
Hahaha...
...did you see what I did there?
Over there!
Even the greats like a bit of pointing...
For what is more awesome than a bloke holding a lamp-post whilst taking a directional stance?
I don't know either...

Ignorance is bliss
I know it's difficult to believe but, you need cameras in film-making.
The camera team, made up of a Cameraman, Assistant Cameraman, the assistant to the Assistant Cameraman, the assistant to the Assistant Cameraman's assistant and, the bloke who is a friend of the assistant to the Assistant Cameraman's assistant are just as vital.
Now you know...
